World Scale Figure

 

Ehhh, my first post?! Etoo, let’s see..

 

 Let’s get on to the recent things which drag my attention. Yup, none other than scale figure.

 

 You know world scale figure? Yep, you’re right. World scale figure is a figure which scale based on the real world size. Usually wears 1/xxx comparison. Eg. 1/100 means 1 cm figure represent 100 cm in the real world. For example, a character with 180 cm height will turn to 1,8 cm figure (the size of real-world divided by 100).

 

 I really like this figure in size. What a small thing compared to a standard figure. Even smaller compared to a coin. In this case I started from Gundam model kit’s pilot.

 

Recently I tried to delve deeper into this world. Start from looking for anything that has been made into this size, learn their detail up to try to paint them myself. And guess what? This isn’t as hard as we see, but also not that easy.

 

I still continue to learn to hone my painting skill.

 

And.. I decided to open my own shop to offer services for painting this tiny miny figure.

Sword Art Online

Hello everyone, long time no see..

Right now I’ve been snared in “SAO”* syndrome. After watching two seasons of these AWESOME anime, I’ve been brainwashed for the merchandise. Starting this month onwards, they are released, so this is the brief..

First I preordered Figma Kirito..

Somehow I rather confused on how those two sheaths of Elucidator & Dark Repulser can be piled up. But I think I leave it until the release :3

One more point is I think this Figma has lost some coolness of this “Kuro no Kenshi“, in this matter I mean his face, but hells with that, IDC, I admired Kirito.

 

 

 

After that I preordered Nendoroid Kirito..  Money come like turtle go like hare ._.

Is this Nendo set got two Elucidator (black & blue ver.)?

I’ve never play Nendo before so this will be my first playable. My “first” Nendo is Erio Touwa but I haven’t opened it and she stuck in others town

By the way, I like “hehhh” or “weee” face of this Kirito, it look kinda fierce and strong.

After my friend POed Figma & PVC Asuna, I can’t hold my impulse again, so.. you know lah

I was quite amazed with those effect parts for Lambent Light. I really love Asuna’s white-red outfit, so elegant @.@ And what is the second sword? “Silvarick Rapier” [sirubarikku reipia] spelled I guessed, CMIIW.

And hell yeah, I’ll be able to make this pose \m/

And if I have some spare money, I’ll take this cutie one for completing my line :3

For now, meanwhile my friend poisoned by Monogatari-series, I’ll chase my waiting list.. Unicorn Gundam Episode 6

The Little Yokozuna [Novel]

Yup, today is the last day of 2012, can’t wait for the 2013, hope for the better year. And before too late, I want to share some good novel, right on..

The title is THE LITTLE YOKOZUNA by Wayne Shorey.

The quote itself show that this story tells about Demon warriors, sumo and baseball, but not only that..

Sinopsis

The story tells about an adventures of an American family that consist of 6 brothers-sisters who want to save their youngest sister. She kidnapped by ONI. They travel from one place to others by using Japanese garden as a portal. In their journey they meet with Japanese boy who infatuated with sumo. And so on..

This novel is pretty beautiful as my imagination soar everywhere, regardless of the mood that this story built. I hope Ghibli Studio would transform this story into beautiful anime movies. Perhaps..

Anyone know to contact Ghibli Studio or Hayao Miyazaki himself? Anyone?

FW Converge SP02

Last week I’ve ordered this thing and finally today they landed savely. None other than, FW Gundam Converge SP02..

Contains of Unicorn Gundam [Destroy Mode] with beam magnum & double gatling gun and Sinanju with Bazooka from the famous yet fabulous anime movies Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn (機動戦士ガンダムUC(ユニコーン), Kidō Senshi Gandamu Yunikōn).

Let’s get it on to the packaging..

It has a nice composition of both mobile suits, with inset (close-up) of their faces crossing on above each others. One thing that tricky here is their eyes, the real figures DOESN’T HAVE a glowing eyes (although I’ve already guessed it).

Back Cover

The back cover provides the data of each mobile suit. The interesting thing here is as you can read, the “Generator Output” and “Thruster General Output” for Unicorn Gundam is listed as “unmeasurable” that indicates the unlimited yet unknown real power of this “Shiroi Akuma (White Devil).” It’s very exhilarating 😀 I can’t wait to see the 6th episode..

Inside the side panel, there’s a instruction to assemble Unicorn’s shield with gatling gun. And also a QR code which I’ve never tried, maybe you can tell me..

I’m still hoping for some chewing gum. I don’t know why sometimes you don’t get it, whereas there’s a “candy” word on it. I only got it from Gundam Seed Chibi figure eventhough I’ve lost my guts to eat them 😀

Gundam SEED EF Collection C.E. #1: Athrun Zala

More from Gundam SEED Destiny.. More Athrun. This time in his outfit on Gundam SEED Destiny Final Plus “The Chosen Future” where our main hero and heroine gathered together in front of the memorial stone on Orb.

Released on July 2006, by Bandai. Sold randomly in a set box for 3000 Yen (or 300 Yen each box).

And again, like dejavu, the picture of the character are separated, this time more figure picture of Shinn, Kira and Athrun while the rest are illustration. Pretty nice though remind us of the last scene from Final Plus.

Athrun Zala (all side)

Normal pose, nothing special. This is the pose that I call “enjoying the breeze”. Pretty nice detail though, especially the hair.

Stand set

And here is the stand that intended to help to stand up, but I think it’s useless since this figure could stand without it. But maybe this is intended to keep from leaning.

Others point of view

Like I said before, the up side of this figure is his hair, nice color and hairline, oh, and one more point is pretty neat face.

Gundam SEED Destiny EF (Emotive Figure) Collection 5: Athrun Zala

Let’s start with this.. The guy who have tendency to self-destruct, is none other than.. Athrun Zala, ZAFT red uniform and member of FAITH. (for Athrun-fans, no offense, I’m with you guys XD).

Here is the figure of him by Bandai, released on March 2006, sold randomly in a set box for 3000 Yen (or 300 Yen each box).

Pretty interesting box, with the character in front side. But I’m a bit confused why picture of Kira & Athrun are the figure while the remaining are illustrations. But it’s not a big deal since it has a Strike Freedom picture at the top side, I Love it..

Next is the figure itself, here we go..

Athrun Zala

Such a great pose and siluet. One figure that you don’t have to worry about not being able to stand because of the pose. Great flying effect of his cloth, hair movement and great expression. The only down side of this figure is his head is easily fall (in my case, I don’t know with others, please tell me).

For who is curious about “when Athrun do this pose?”, here it is. In Gundam SEED Destiny phase 46 when Lacus met Meer, and was being surrounded by enemy, he made a solo run and great maneuver to took them off (pic 1). And here is the gun which he used (pic 2).
